My car airconditioner we just replaced condenser and air compressor.Initially brought to Toyota Dealer and after a $300 bill told us air compressor had to be changed. The problem is the ac is cold for a period of time then you can hear that it starts shutting down and just blows air. Also when this happens there is a foul smell like musty odor when the ac shifts from cold air to blower only. This goes on and off.So had the air compressor replaced.Still same problem! I dont know what else to do? Should I bring to an AC expert? Where if ever? Like whats wrong with my AC?

Something similar happened in my car. The problem were the lines from the compressor to the AC outlet. I would say take your car to Canadian Tire and have them analyze it, they check these lines as well. If it is the line, it has nothing to do with the compressor.
CT poured some liquid and were able to determine the lines were broken somewhere and once they fixed it, I had no issues. Also, if the AC is giving out some cool air and then just normal air, the compressor may not be the problem. The other thing to is you can get them to refill the compressor while you are at it.

Was the work done at the Dealership? If so take it back and have them repair it for no charge. They obviously didn't repair it correctly, or make sure the system was not leaking before they gave the Rav back. That's alot of money to put out only to have it not working.
For the smell they have a cleaner for your HVAC that gets ride of bacteria.

No i brought it to a shop.I just had the Toyota Dealer evaluate it and their diagnosis was air compressor needed to be changed.Like for $300 diagnosis that would have been correct. They even poured dye.

So they diagnosed your problem and told you what you needed. I gather you did not get it done. Was there a leak?
The A/C cycles on and off. Low refrigerant will make it act like that. As will a compressor that is starting to fail. The A/C is a system and there are many individual components within that system and any one of them can make the system act up. A/C system repairs can be big bucks.
