So a question for anyone who has experience buying new cars, its been a while since I bought one, and am getting a price of $49,500 taxes in for a 2012 Lexus ES 350 with Nav - its the C package. Which I think is a decent price.
Thing is the 2013 model is coming in August. Would the 2012 normally get discounted further as the shape changes, so wait for that. And anyone have any input on the 49,500 im being given. Im in BC
thanks

As the new cars come in the market, most of the companies cut the prices of few models, but these Lexus ES 350 cars are quite and good responsive cars so company will not look to cut the prices of these cars. If in 2013 a new model is coming, then it will not affect the prices of this model because company is getting a good response from these cars.

Have you looked at the Lacrosse? It's also end of life cycle, and is being discounted.

I may be missing something, the car list for 42150 + 3850 navi + 1950 + 100 air tax = 48050 - 5000 manufacturers rebate = 43050 + 12% tax = 48216 at full price and you said you were getting it for 49500?

I can see the similarities. However, no one's gonna see an ES and mistaken it for a Sonata.
If the new GS and ES are this attractive, I can't wait to see what the new IS looks like.

Your theory makes no sense. Dealerships will ALWAYS offer incentives to clear their existing inventory to make space for the new models.

Sorry I meant the Navi Premium package, also with the 17 inch alloys so the total price Im getting online is $59,806.61. So with the 5000 rebate the online price is $54,806.61 taxes in.
I thought the $49,500 was a good price considering
