Convex mirror at the office desk?

What do you guys think about placing a convex mirror at the desk to see what's happening behind you? Last time at work my boss startled me in the morning as a joke, I though it was annoying, and did not like it. Also be nice to have the mirror to browse RFD at work, :).

At least half the people in the workplaces I've worked at had a mirror of some sort. Don't see a problem.
