I'm currently in the process of getting a Mazda CX-5 GT. The sales gave me the MSRP price with a $300 mark up and it's a no go on discounts or anything because it's in very high demand and also on waiting list. So, I want to see what others got theirs for... Please share :)

I'll be getting the GX trim (i.e., base model) at $550 off the MSRP plus free cargo cover (~$250) and reduced tint (though that's from a 3rd party). Overall it's not a spectacular deal, but okay. I'm sure later on in the year they'll be giving more discounts.

Has anyone managed to get a good deal out of a dealer for this car?

Was looking at the GS trim and was told the same thing by 2 dealers, no discounts due to high demand :|

I bought 2013 cx5 gt back in may last year. Got it $1500 under msrp + recent grad rebate. If I insisted I think i could've got more discount. Was quoted for $500 less in april but couldn't make decision until may. Hope that helps. Btw I'm in Gta area and bought from Scarboro Mazda. Toronto Mazda offered the lower price in April last year.

Clearly I am pricing wrong
