I'm tired of paying the ridiculous prices from Bell. Thinking of switching to Teksavvy.

I would like to know, if I do switch, do I have to cancel my Bell internet first? or can I get Teksavvy internet first and then cancel Bell later.

Basically I want to know is, can I have 2 DSL internet service at the same time?

Contact Teksavvy first to get an activation date and let them know you are switching from bell.

After that you contact bell and Let them know you are switching to teksavvy and want your service to be cancelled on that activation date.

OP what would be ideal Is...

1. Call Bell and say you want to cancel, Bell's going to ask for that 30 day notice crap.
2. Call Teksavvy after when you have figured out when your Bell internet line Is going to cut off.
3. Schedule with Teksavvy 1 week before your Bell lines goes out so you will still have a backup plan If Teksavvy fails to install It on that day you scheduled them to come.
4. Done.

I'd suggest you call them nearing your cancellation date with Bell because you would want to use Bells internet line to the full potential before they cut you off.
I mean you can call Teksavvy right away and have them install It but you would be paying two bills for 2 internet lines for that one month depending how early Teksavvy comes and what not.
