I am visiting the Bell Centre in downtown Montreal.

1 - Is it advisable to park at Bell Centre (where the parking charge is apparently $20), or is there more affordable parking within easy walking distance?

2 - What can a single guy do in the area to kill time? I've been to Club SuperSexe (gentlemen's club) before and didn't think much of it.

3 - What are some restaurants within walking distance where I can order an affordable, large-portioned, healthy meal? ie - fast food isn't going to cut it.

Please and thank you in advance. :)

There is an open lot right across the street. I've parked there for a concert before. ~15-20$ I think.

Baton Rouge is also right across the street if you feel like some meat and potatoes.

That's all I got.

There's a lot within walking distance of the Bell Centre, I'd go up on Crescent or Peel and look at the sidewalk cafes and bars there, lots of restaurants in that little area around Ste-Catherine.
