Just a quick question.
When the tracking of a package internationally it says that the package has been delivered. Do these tracking sites usually scan the package as 'delivered' if it got to the main post office? Or are they seen as delivered when they've reached the doors of the house they're suppose to be sent too?
Just curious as past experiences and what I read online differ.

"Delivered" means the package has been delivered to the receiver's address, although there may be discrepancies from time to time.

Canada Post internationally to France. La Poste I guess over there..? Used Xpresspost

Discrepancies?
Anyways, so since its listed as Delivered they had probably signed and ***** too right? Because its a gift and I never told her it was coming and would just probably like to surprise her with it. She's awake and tweeting but usually I'd hear something from her esp if its something like this but nothing.
I read online that ***** does happen, and sometimes its listed as delivered but doesn't really come until the next day. Just want to know whats up. The tracking says this
2012/07/04 11:31 77999,France Item successfully delivered
2012/07/04 04:27 77999,France Item has been received at the delivery office in the destination country
2012/07/03 14:53 FRCDGH,France International item released from Customs to Foreign Postal Administration
2012/07/03 13:42 FRCDGH,France Item has been sent to customs in the destination country
2012/07/03 13:40 FRCDGH,France International item has arrived in a foreign country
2012/07/03 08:51 FRCDGH, International shipment has arrived in a foreign country
2012/06/30 10:00 MISSISSAUGA International item has left Canada
2012/06/29 20:47 MISSISSAUGA Item processed at postal facility
2012/06/29 14:55 SCARBOROUGH Item accepted at the Post Office
The Location it has listed where it says its successfully delivered is the same as the delivery office.
Other times where *I* have recieved something it says my address. But that was with FedEX from Japan.

Ah yes, if this is international shipping and the shipping information posted by the OP above is from Canada Post's website, then delivered means they've just officially handed the package over to La Poste.

Once the package arrived to the destination country Canadapost do not have access to the tracking information anymore.
See if you can use your tracking number on the next postal service's website and see if you can continue tracking the progress.

you can verify the new tracking number to the person where you bought the item. because they can ask where the item is located.
