When I use a voice commands on my phone with my usual headset, my LG Optimus One dials the number as it should. However, when I use the bluetooth connection in my car, I have not been able to complete a call.

The other day, I pulled to the side of the road and tried it while watching what was going on when I gave a voice command. I found that a dialog box pops up on the phone asking if I want to use my phone dialer or Skype. That dialog box would stay there for a few seconds and when there was no reponse, it would simply fade away and the call wouldn't complete.

Other than uninstalling Skype, can anyone think of a way to overcome this? There is a go offline option in the Skype App but I'm not sure what it does excatly. It's not the same as logging out.

Select one and make that the permanent default selection. Then that choice will never appear again until to you reset the defaults.

I'll see if it gives me the option. I don't think it did when I tested last time.

The interesting thing is I don't have a data plan and I just use skype over wifi. Since I was in my car, I'm quite sure I wasn't connected anywhere.

Also, it doesn't give me that dialog box when I use a regular bluetooth headset. It's only in the car.

Tried it and it worked.
