I was just about to order this service yesterday to call to Pakistan as well. I spoke to a guy named mit whom I asked about the misleading banner on the right of their homepage that says "Bumper 1 cent offer to Pakistan". The guy tells me no its like 1.5 cents because "the government of Pakistan has imposed a telecom TAX on all LDI operators", which frankly isn't that bad of a rate. I was still thinking of signing up until I started noticing that mit was quickly jumping the gun asking me my personal information so I can open an account with Callingo. This seemed kind of fishy so I decided not to sign up just yet. Still debating whether to sign up or not because you can pay them with paypal which is secured right? Just a couple more points:

- When I looked for their callingo or iTunnel App on appstore and android market, no results were found. instead, you have to download it through their website...
- I looked up reviews and there were none to be found. Then I searched youtube which had 2 videos by the same channel name with 5-8 positive exaggerated comments posted by the same people (guessing they were workers). I am currently looking at some calling card companies as well as Rebtel. I will most probably end up going with either Rebtel or Comfi. Let me know if you find another reliable international calling/texting source as I am desperately looking for one. I used to use TextFree which allowed me to text to my family in Pakistan for free. But they're service has been down since 2 weeks and this is due to change of policies by the government of some countries including Pakistan. TextFree can't afford the taxes and is cutting support (we can still receive just cant send). So I know that the whole TAXES (implemented 3 weeks ago maybe callingo didnt update it) thing is legit considering Pinger (textfree) support told me the same thing as callingo. Bottom line, we can't necessarily call it a spam yet, or can we o.O lol. Im gonna go to some popular review sites and ask ppl.

its better to stay away from callingo s***... I am back with localphone.com offcourse there rates are higher but i have peace of mind i am dealing with an authentic company... sofar i have tried localphone, pedipompi (i have stop using pedipompi because they are no longer accepting paypal for pin recharge) ... Raza.com is offering a promotion this ramazan ( i saw some ads on Geo TV) they are giving 1100 mins for $10 which i am thinking of giving a try as they are also very famous. http://www.raza.com/phonecards_offer/ramadan_new_customer_offer.aspx

oh really wow thats not bad at all for Raza.com. We have Raza for landline service quality is pretty good. The problem is the Raza account is under my parents' name. I want to have a service under my name so that I can call from my cellphone to someone special if u know what I mean hahaha. Thanks for sharing the Raza link. I might get it for myself 1100 mins for $10 is a really good deal. The only thing is, the app on the android market got horrible reviews so I don't know what to do...If you get the service anytime soon please let me know how your experience goes.
