The full thing bought individually would have cost well over 1million. This guy is losing money here lol.

For a collection like that, the buyer will need to build his own museum to display it. It would be better if the seller had all versions of the consoles.

If you are really rich and has nothing to do with your money, this one is a good deal. But if the seller will sell this one one by one or by set, He will get more than 1 million because some people are really collecting rare stuff.

lol imagine the shipping process.

well the ebay user name is collectors king and the store is japan games heaven. So maybe it's a store in japan. And that's where a bunch of games are made.
I wonder if the games are used and traded in only if they are in good conidition...
It's only as worth as much as how much someone cares about it.

Who has time to play all those games. Just imagine all of it being destroyed in a flood or something.

It's probably more about the collection than playing the games. A friend of mine collects NES games yet rarely finds time to play them. I think he enjoys finding rare games and the process of collecting them more than playing the actual games.

I'm that way with Vinyl. I like to collect the rare stuff from the 90s when vinyl had no popularity whatsover (but alot of my favorite music is from that era). Some of that stuff is expensive because there are so few copies....

To each their own. Shelling out over a million for a completed collection though, it sort of takes all the fun out of collecting ? :)

They are all supposed to be BNIB, which is what makes it so crazy!

I hope he's using the mail, and not UPS/Fedex- "Sir, here's your delivery. That'll be $314,298 in Customs and Brokerage charges":D

If I was willing to fork over that much cash, I'd spend extra to fly there and then charter a flight back with the haul.
