Hi,
I'm trying to build a laptop that can take on 2 SSD drives. I don't need a regular drive as this laptop will serve a specific purpose that doesn't require a lot of HDD space.
I tried looking on Dell's & HP's sites but its not clear whether any of their laptop can be retrofitted with 2 SSDs...
Anyone?

I have a Thinkpad T510 that should be able to do this. It has an SSD in it right now and from what I understand the CD drive can be replaced with another drive bay.
EDIT:
You might need SSD brackets as well, my thinkpad came with one.

Then that applies to pretty much any laptop with a CD drive then lol

Exactly. Now if OP wants a laptop with 2 dedicated HDD bays (which is the same as SSD BTW) then might need to look it the 17 inch ones. For example the Dell M6600 has this feature

You can hack almost any laptop with an optical drive to accept an ssd. You need a tray from ebay and ability to live without your dvd drive.

Asus G53 (http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=710_577_369&item_id=042675), G75, G74 (http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=710_577_371&item_id=043052), , MSI Gaming, Sager, Clevo. Only the best brands out there.
Some cheaper brands - like Toshiba and some Dell's have dual drive built in.

There are also laptops with mSATA Slot: Compatible with all newer mSATA SSDs. Lenovo T520 can that I know of.

My T510 can do it. I bought a external hdd bay (but I bought it off ebay because the official one left a tiny "hole" in the slot due to height difference).

Does that mean a Thinkpad can have 3 SSDs/HDs? One regular, one DVD bay and one mSATA?
