Any mechanics in Toronto/GTA that do drop in/same day car inspections?

Hello,

My parents want to buy a low mileage used vehicle. We will be driving from Ottawa to Toronto to check out some vehicles.

I'm looking to find a good mechanic I can go to for a vehicle inspection. But I need this mechanic to do it urgently (same day) because at most we are staying into Toronto for 1 night.

Can anyone recommend me a shop that I can go to without booking an appointment days ahead and get the vehicle inspected with minimal waiting?

if i was buying a specialized car ... i'd go to a specialist.

even a dealership can do a pre purchase inspection for you on the same day.

Robinson Automotive ( near 401 & Dixie ) - a reputable CAA / APA approved shop.

They have a very robust pre-purhcase inspection service ( see link below ) for about $125 or so that takes about 1 hour + and will give you a 3 page detailed report of it's condition.

Call the shop ahead of time and ask for Mike ( or e-mail him ), tell him your situation and I'm sure they'll be able to accommodate you
