What's considered cheap? North York is pretty cheap to park compared to d/t.

The Green P on Beecroft (Right behind NY City Centre). Day Max is $9.50 ... is that cheap ? I don't know.

Empress Walk Garage - where Loblaws, FS, BNS, etc are ... $8.00 Day Max (in before 10am and out by 7pm)

If for really short term parking, the going rate is around $1.00 per half hr & up.

Short Term
Metro on Church/Doris ~ 5 Min walk from North York Center
You can park for about 2 hours without a ticket, if you buy 1 item (~$2?) then you gaurentee no ticket for 2 hours.

Long term
Rent out parking spot for condo - $100/month over 20 business days (assuming u need for work) = $5/day

Not sure how the condo thing would work unless you are renting a access card or remote as well..

Thanked you. But I need whole day parking. Maybe someone rents his condo parking while he himself is parked elsewhere for work?

You always get a garage remote when you rent out someone's parking spot.

I know someone who does this, but it only works if the owner has 2 remotes...

Hmm. I have an idea. So let's say someone lives in a condo. So he rents a parking spot for $100. Then, he rents it out to me for $50 so that I can use it during the days (when he is parked at work). So called parkpooling :)))

Usually you can buy an extra remote from condo management

Looks like $100 - $150 per month is the going rate (private)

by doing the math, if you work M-F - 5days and you pay, say $150/month and that works out to about $7.00 per weekday. Just a bit more of the $8.50 - $10 max for the Green P.
