Hey guys,

So it's my first time going to Cuba and I was wondering where I would find and buy some decent snorkel gears (the mask/snorkel and fins would be great if it was together).

I've checked at Costco, but they had some pretty bad reviews unfortunately (it was the U.S. Divers brand). I saw it as around 49.99 (without tax for the set), which isn't bad...it was only the reviews that put me off a bit.

Also, how would I know they're the snorkels that auto closes the top so no water gets into the air hole when we do dive into the water?

Really new to this whole snorkelling business so some help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Check out MEC (http://www.mec.ca/Main/home.jsp?bmForm=mec_quick_search&bmFormID=jxOytjw&bmUID=jxOytjx&bmIsForm=true&bmPrevTemplate=%2FMain%2Fhome.jsp&bmText=quick_search&quick_search=snorkel&bmImage=search.x&bmImage=search.y&bmImage=search&search.x=0&search.y=0&bmHidden=Ntk&Ntk=).

I picked up mask, snorkel and fins for $65 earlier this year and am very happy with them.

Hmm, 65 dollars eh?

Anyone know of a better deal? Or even if it's not a better deal...

What brand should I be looking for exactly?
