You can get the same printer but with scanner on top, it is the CLX-3185FX for 129.99 $, that is a better deal. Best Buy had these on clearance, they are out of stock, but they still keep the stickers with the price on the shelf (aparently Samsung pays for the shelf space). Take a picture of that price, go to Staples, price match it there and that's it. I just did it today and I don't think you can get a better deal for a color wireless multifunction printer.
Also, the CLX-3185FX like the CLP-325 can be hacked for about 11$ to accept toner refills (it is a firmware hack, not a physical chip). After that you only need toner, there is no need for a chip reset or a different cartridge.

Could not find a Best Buy with the price on the shelf.

Thanks for that deal, great find.
Would someone mind explaining how the hacking process works? It kills the whole purpose if I have to buy toners at this point.
Thanks.

These people (http://www.yazici-resetleme.com/samsung-chip-resetter/CLX-Series) are selling a modified firmware for about 11 CAD. You just flash that firmware over the current one and that should do it. I haven't done it for my printer, but about 2 years ago I ordered a reset chip for a Samsung CLP-310 from them. It seems they have figured out how to modify the firmware without the need of a separate chip. Also you can find them and probably a few others on eBay.

Thank you claudiu_corbea,
I bought the CLX-3185N for $130 from BestBuy. Just a heads up that it doesn't have Wireless connection and dual face printing! It does have ethernet connection.
The CLX-3185FW is a different model (not the Bestbuy model) and with wireless connection.

Go to Staples and price match, they sell the CLX-3185 FW. It is Wireless (W) and has a Fax (F). For sure it is a better model than what Best Buy is selling, but Staples salespeople won't check if it is N or FW, as long as it is CLX-3185 XXX they will price match without a problem.

Can someone translate their webpage for me? I have the CLP310 and one toner is runing low already (red light flashing). I am really interested in resetting the firmware so that I can use cheap toners.
Nevermind, I found the switch to change it to english.

I will wait for 30 days (return period) to make sure there is nothing wrong with the printer and then I will flash it. Those people also sell the firmware on eBay and have positive feedback, I guess their way is working.
