Android Tablet, NAS, and iTunes

Hello,

So my wife needs a new computer and we were thinking of getting a tablet. I would like to get the new Google Nexus 7.

She has an iPod and would like to be able to sync it to iTunes. I have a NAS and it has the ability to create an iTunes share (Synology DS211+).

Is this possible? Could she sync her iPod Touch to the Google Nexus 7 if the music existed on the NAS?

Is it possible to get the music from your NAS to your Nexus?

I'm more wondering if I could sync the iPod to the tablet. I'm guessing not though from what I read.

It also seems that getting iTunes to run off a NAS is hit or miss (mostly miss from most articles).

This is why I hate Apple products.
