I am new to the Google Play marketplace, having an android phone for about a month and now getting the Nexus 7 tablet. Hopefully we can compile a list of the most worthwhile paid apps to use our $25 credit on.
What apps are worth buying on Google Play?

I was going to ask the same thing. I also wonder if I add a credit card to enable the $25, can I remove the credit card right away and still keep the $25 credit. I don't want to make it too easy for myself to load of on stuff only to be remorseful when the bill arrives at the end of the month.

Off the top of my head: (note, I'm not sure all of them are compatible with the Nexus 7)
SwiftKey X - best keyboard eva
PowerAmp - awesome music player
Titanium Backup - ridiculously powerful backup utility (requires root)

You can remove the credit card. The $25 will be labelled as Google Play balance when paying for apps, movies, books, games.

Is there a way to get those for free? I'm from iPhone and JB did the job!

Anyone try Dead Trigger or GTA III yet on this tablet? The micro usb port is proprietary (according to Linus's NCIX unboxing vid). I am thinking if it can support a keyboard, could it support a game controller as well? Good thing I have my Nokia OTG cable that I had for my Xoom.
