Pretty please. I'm in Kitchener Waterloo area. It's for my Dell U2312HM monitor. I am using a Displayport to DVI adapter but it's hurting my video card because the Displayport to DVI adapter is so flimsy.

Have you checked Monoprice? You can get a cable for like 8 dollars after shipping.

$10 or less on DealExtreme, if you don't mind waiting a while.

I highly doubt anybody has spare displayport cables laying around to give away. The options provided are pretty cheap. Failing that, is there any reason you can't just use DVI instead?

I am using a Displayport to DVI converter but it is damaging my video card (the adapter slouches down) so it's like bending the port

I didn't say to use a converter. You can buy a cable with displayport on one end, and a DVI on the other. Simply buy the cable, and you are good to go.

What I was asking is why not use a DVI to DVI. Is your video card only displayport out?

Wait a minute. If you're in KW, why not try the KW Surplus Store? Don't they still have practically everything there?

Kijiji Deals has one up for $15 for the next 32 hours, but really they're just as trustworthy as DealExtreme. (In fact, they're probably getting them from the same source and making $5 profit on each sale, at least.)
