Like the title says...looking for boxes in the Scarborough area for a move next week. Currently just grabbing the empty paper boxes from work (staples charge $1.49 last time I checked!). I've also gotten some from a friend at SDM. Will be hitting up LCBO and various other stores later this week as well.

The cheapest I've found was home depot at $0.99 for a 19x13x25 but with the crazy rain yesterday I wasn't able to check in store :( Their website also mentions might not be available in stores either. Looked at rona, uhaul and walmart as well. Walmart had the smallest box (16x16x13) at a whopping $3 each!!

So if anyone has extra boxes from recently moving, work etc in the Scarborough area lemme know please :)

McDonalds fry boxes are awesome for moving (the fry smell does go away)

Goto your local Canadian Tire and talk to customer service to see if they can hold boxes for you. I did this on my move 3 years ago and got a truck load for free! They were more than happy to do it as its less work for them not having to shred the boxes.

For dishes and such.. go to the LCBO. They have strong and sturdy boxes that they are always willing to give away.

Do you have a favourite restaurant where they know you? Or maybe your pharmacy?

Most of the stuff is all moved now except for the kitchen stuff. Will look into LCBO for those boxes with the dividers. Everyone keep and eye out for surplus dishes soon to be in the BST XP
