hey guys, i plan on buying the Lenovo Y580 with the FHD screen and SSD hard drive.

This one , incase anyone needs the specs:

I want to put either the windows 7 or OSX on the SSD. Does anyone know which operating system runs more efficient and smooth on a SSD.
I would like to run both Windows 7 and Mac OS X mountain lion on the same machine.

I wanted to know if anyone knew how to dual boot with OS X mountain lion, or if there was some sort of detailed guide.

Smooth and efficient for what? If it's general OS usage, there shouldn't be much of a problem.

The real question for whether mac os is even compatible with that laptop. Have you made a hackintosh before? This is your source for hackintosh: http://www.osx86project.org/ Check the wiki for that laptop or a similar one, and search the forums at insanely mac to see if anyone's done it before
