Poll: How do you orient your smartphone for photos.

So I've seen a trend ... between Smartphones (HTC, LG, Samsung etc.) and the iPhone.
When iPhone users take photos, they TEND to keep their phone in portrait mode.
When Smartphone users take photos, they TEND to place their phones landscape mode.

So the poll has the questions, and we can discuss below how you take photos / videos.

I find it annoying to look at iPhone photos/videos. Mainly video, as it's so horizontally small and vertically tall - and eyesight is wider than taller.

Note: I put Blackberry in the "Other" category, as I suspect most of the people keep it in portrait, NOT because it's a 'dumb' phone. The 3rd and 6th categories can also include older Windows devices like iPaq etc, and can include Palm devices.

When I take pictures of myself topless in front of the mirror I use portrait.
When I take pictures of the food I'm about to eat I use landscape.
When I take an artistic photo of random objects I tilt the phone on an angle and use sepia.

Does it really matter which device you have? lol.

For what it's worth I have an Android.

But for videos I will always take them in landscape mode because most (all?) TVs/monitors will be in that setup.

For photos, I'll take them like any other camera, depends what you're taking pictures of.

I use default app + default settings when taking pictures, I should really find out which settings shoots the best pictures though!

my phone has the camera on the top right... like a camera, so naturally i shoot like that
but am not a media moron so i actually have basic common sense when it comes to shooting stuff

Most of my IPhone videos are taken when i'm drunk, which means landscape has way too much of a risk to take in Landscape, so i do everything in portrait. if it's that important of a picture, i'll use a camera.
