looking for something like this http://www.amazon.com/CoverMate%C2%AE-Food-Covers-Boxes-Variety/dp/B003057C7Q , but a lot cheaper, seen them in chinese stores before but can't find them anymore, pretty much like shower cap for bowls/containers

Why not consider going to your friendly supermarket and ask the manager if you can buy a roll of those bags at the produce area? Probably $15 to $20 but there are hundreds of them in a roll. Simply use and dispose, much more hygienic possibly.
According to the link on the Amazon site there are 5 sizes, that has to be a pain in the posterior when rushing around the kitchen :)
