Shorts are generally frowned upon at the office as "unprofessional" if you are a man.... mini skirts are welcomed though if you are a girl.

Also, the hottest part of my day was walking from the parking lot to the office. Everything else in between was and is air conditioned. If I wore shorts at the office, I'd freeze. Their HVAC is turned on full blast.

A few years ago, my weird neighbour came home in mid-summer in jeans and a winter jacket, had a conversation with a bottle of water on his front step, and then went inside.

I think he was drunk. And he had just come from his car :)

I saw lots of girls wearing shawls and layers outside today. They're free to wear whatever they like to keep cool, so I really don't get that. The office was okay because of the air conditioning, but I had to suffer outside in my business casual stuff. I'm currently sitting in my underwear with the ghetto air conditioner (bowl of ice in front of tower fan) going.

My dad worries me. He goes outside with a jacket.. One of those made with plwthorA and when anyone insista that hr leVe kt at home he will clench on to it and aay hes cold. i an disturbed for his safety.
