Apparently its a dollar for the potatoes or $2 for the potatoes and the drink, and its only in Singapore right now.

It looks really soupy/watery but Id definitely try it for that price. :D

Didn't even know they had 7-11s in Singapore. Isn't it a Canadian company?

There are 7-11s all over Asia. I thought they were an American company.

7-11 is a Japanese-owned company. It was founded in America in the 1920s or so and franchised. The American company faced financial troubles in the 1980s and a Japanese franchisor bought them out. 7-11 originally referred to its hours of operation -- 7am - 11pm -- which was very unusual for a business at the time.

7-11 is HUGE in Asia. If you think there are too many Tim Hortons or Starbucks all over the place in Canada, know that there are even more 7-11s in Asia on the same block. In Hong Kong I go to 7-11 to buy all my snacks and drinks. They also sell Chinese buns and take out.
