Price is a little much though. Wonder if its worth waiting on Bestbuy hoping they'll have it for 500.00 or to just jump on this. This tablet looks amazing btw. Easily the best Android out.

Christ, how many tablets does Asus have besides the TF101 and the original Transformer Prime?

I think they have a lot... TF101, Transformer Slider?, Transformer Prime, TF300, Transformer Infinity, Nexus 7 and those fancy Windows Eee-slates.
Acer has a lot of tablets too with their Axxx series.

I love the resolution on this... Hopefully it will go down to $350 soon, then I'll bite. Is it backwards compatible with old keyboard docks or is there a new one?

None of the current Transformer tablets are backwards compatible with older model keyboard docks. Highly doubt this would be backwards compatible as well.
And 350? You wish. That will take a couple of years or so. Price and resale value seem to be pretty solid on these Transformer tablets.

Don't you already have too many tablets now:razz:? Jks jks of course.
I read from a source about Asus's plans on JB updates and looks like there's no mention of the TF101 receiving JB. Worst case, sell it and buy one the latest Transformer Pad series.

I take it you have never used an Asus prime or a nexus 7 or a galaxy tab 7.7 I have all 3 plus a few more tablets get one of those and compare it to any netbook and then update your post ! I cant image ever using a netbook again they are dreadfullly slow at everything. If I need a windows 7 laptop for something I have a half dozen of those as well !
If you are really concerned about the price buy a nexus 7 it is very fast and does a lot of things ie. Internet movies email music video faster then i7 Intel laptops at a cheaper price

Hmm. I don't think it's worth the $500+ investment for music video internet and email. For $500 I could get a 15" laptop ><
