The facts:
Under 100 minutes per month calling. Local and long distance.
Under 100 texts.
Light surfing and apps, not heavy vids or downloads.
Would like a Nexus/Galaxy/Apple or equivalent phone. Could buy outright if needed.
Usage 70% in the GTA and surrounding area , balance in rural Ontario and Quebec.
Wife has a cell phone with Rogers - 4 yr old Sony - voice and text only, basic plan.
I like what Wind has pricing wise but coverage is a concern.
Where would I get a phone that would could be ported to the greatest number of carriers?
