I'm looking to get a pair of Sony MDR-XB700 headphones but I want to buy them in-store in order to avoid shipping costs and scams/fakes. Does anyone know a store in Toronto where I can buy these headphones? Thanks.

Bought these a year or so ago because I'm a real basshead, but I came to the conclusion that I don't like closed headphones

Are the headphones on that website genuine?

They should be. The base price for these headphones is 79$ In the U.S., Sony likes to rip off its Canadian customers.

most "real" online stores shouldn't be peddling fake stuff, that's ebay's specialty. Which is a shame, because ebay is a great way to get around price gouging of local markets, but unfortunately is saturated with fake products.

I checked their website and emailed them. They don't sell Sony products for some reason.

They're actually $130 in the U.S. and $150 in Canada. I think you've mistaken them for the MDR-XB500 which are $79 in U.S.

I was also hoping to buy in-store, as in an actual physical store.

No point in buying them in a store, because you cant return them without paying 15% at most stores.

You can sell them locally on kijiji if you don't like them, there's likely demand for them since people can't try them out at the store usually.

I want to buy them in an actual store. What do you not understand about that? Buying online costs shipping and also take time to arrive. I need them within a short period of time.

Unfortunate that you're set on buying ***** headphones, but at any rate, I'd get them on eBay. Buying electronics in stores in Canada is usually far more expensive than the market price in the U.S.

Well, someone just posted CanadaComputers, which should not be selling fakes.

Why anyone could require headphones 'urgently' is beyond me. Buying speciality items usually requires more effort than walking into a bestbuy, and if you're in a hurry you'll sometimes pay the price for that haste.

Speaking from Quebec, I usually treat local competitors as trash, as they rarely keep anything of interest in stock and pricing is far worse then Ontario, BC, or the U.S.
