Due to a couple of posts of mine being deleted on the "helpful" thread, I thought I might as well start a thread when you weren't helpful to anyone but looked out for yourself.
Here are my examples:
A neighbor who was just moving into the detached house next to mine had a pregnant wife and a couple of friends helping him move. They left to get some food for all of them and he was doing it by himself. I was working in my garden and I had a plastic mop handle that was going to be used for my cucumber plants for them to climb in the front yard next to one of my shrubs. He comes to me and asks me if I could help him move a couple of boxes into the garage since his friends were gone to get food for them. I looked at him and said sorry, my back was hurt and I couldn't help him. He looked at me weird but then said its ok, I assume he saw me walking normally. I grunted a little and acted as my back was hurt. Cue a but later when they were done I was leaving to meet with a couple of friends. He was there as were his wife and friends. I did a little dance (like LMFAO) as I was walking waved him hello and drove away. Last thing I remember was he was shocked and his wife was shaking her head. That made me feel good. Next time don't ask me for help.
Some pregnant woman and her husband were asking me for directions. Since I knew the place but they had stopped me from an important meeting I purposely gave them the wrong address. It make me feel good that I got them back.
I was walking in my neighborhood when there was this accident between these two cars. No one was hurt and I stood there watching when a text came and I diverted my attention. As I finished and looked up one of the guys asked me to use the phone. I replyed that I didn't have one and he said he saw me with one just a moment ago. I replyed that he was wrong wished him the best of luck and walked away. I felt good about not helping him.
And the one that was deleted, I'll sumarize it. Community used to have a community BBQ. I didn't participate this year. Backyard was getting made by myself and thus BBQ was outside. I was BBQing and turned to get a drink when Neighbor, his wife and 3 year old kid began eating my food with other neighbors standing waiting for the food to be cooked. I told them to get lost, they complained to the organizer and they were told I wasn't part of it. I demanded restitution, they refused, I threaten to call the cops, they finally paid, Community BBQ was cancelled. I felt good.
What are your stories?
