wondering if i'm going to be hit with duty or additional taxes.

Expect to pay duties and/or taxes on anything you import from outside Canada.

Of course, you've already looked online using keywords such as Canada, Duty, Bike Parts and read what Google came up with, right? Therefore you'd know that wheels are generally subject to HST only. If it is shipped via the postal service, you won't be dinged with those courier fees either.
