Greetings fellow RF'rs. Looking at replacing our 30 yr old A/C and furnace -- A/C bit the bullet and I would assume that the furnace will too within a few years. Both served us well.

If anyone has had any work done in the Woodstock area, would you be so kind as to recommend (or indicate who to stay away from) a company that does good work?

Thanks

You might want to investigate keeping that furnace if it is still in fair condition. Check the make and Google for comments, ones like the Grimsby furnace last forever, the new ones will not.

I had a useless 6 year old Coleman furnace here when we bought and was told it needed changing. While on my walks I separately ran into 2 different gas fitters. I asked each if I could ask one question (didn't want to be seen as picking their brains). Each was asked 'how about a Coleman furnace?' That way three gas fitters told me what I needed to know and a new furnace was purchased.
