This is a great deal on these SSDs. They come with Indilinx v1.4 firmware, and v1.5 was released a few weeks ago. I have been using OCZ SSDs for two years now with no problems. The speeds on these are very good as well.

Have OCZ's ssd reliability improved as of late? (i'm clearly out of the ssd loop but remember a while back there was a lot of concern)

Yes. If you were referring to Sandforce BSOD issues from May 2011, most were fixed by start of 2012, and they are still putting out new firmware. But this is vertex4 which uses marvell controller with indilinx firmware (confusing!). Of course this is a new product still, so reliability isn't really known. According to reviews on newegg they seem ok.
Still safest bet is Crucial M4.

So... where is the best place and price to get a Crucial M4. Maybe it's time for me to get my first SSD. :)

$105 for 128gb is not hot. $65-70 would be. 99% of people will not notice the difference between a vertex 3 and a vertex 4.

Mentioned in CC weekend sale thread already, and NCIX is even cheaper and no MIR.
