My Turtle Beach X31 headset has seen its fair share of use and is starting to show signs of age. I'm potentially in the market for a new setup but not looking to spend a small fortune on a headset. What is everyone using these days, what do you recommend? Looking for something that does in game audio as well as chat for when I play when the wife is sleeping.

Was looking at the X42 and the XP300 sets as a potential replacement. I don't need the latest and the greatest, just something that is good and works well for the price.

Thanks

I got a refurb PX5 for my 360 and love it. As much as I thought the bluetooth feature was pointless for 360 I have actually used it multiple times for phone calls and music.

Thanks but it's a bit rich for my blood. I don't need DSS, a stereo headset with simulated surround is good enough for me.

Try a Razer Headset which is usually for a desktop computer but can also be used for XBOX360, this is normally high priced but a dual purpose.
