Acer P238HL 23" LED MONITOR WORTH IT?

I was at walmart and saw they had a new monitor in stock. Acer P238HL 23" LED Monitor for $148 with tax in came to $167.24 Saw the specs thought it was a good deal and bought it. Since its a new model there isn't any reviews or info on it. Specs are as follows:-
1) 23 inch TFT LCD with an LED Backlight
2) Full HD 1920 x 1080
3) Inputs are DVI and VGA

One thing i like about it is how thin it is and what I don't like is it doesn't have a stand (more like a kickstand). Another thing I am bummed about is it doesn't have hdmi. I got it for my bro cause he has ps3 and a main pc thought he could connect both to the monitor. It was an impulse buy and forgot to check if it had HDMI. I guess he could connect the ps3 to the dvi (we have a hdmi to dvi cable) and the pc via vga. My question is this a good deal? Or could i get better if I look at other current monitors being sold. My dad got a gift receipt and also gave the original to my brother would he be able to get a refund (cash) if he returns it? Thanks for your inputs and suggestions

Not really a good deal I find.. No HDMI port.. Having no HDMI port at this day and age Is like :facepalm:. Although you can probably use those converters so It's not that bad.
An ASUS monitor Is very reputable and probably can get you better for the price. In terms of quality and what not.

Thanks for the advice. No hdmi really makes this a dealbreaker. I think I will return it. Any suggestion for a 23inch led monitor with hdmi for around the same price?

The Dell U2312HM has been $169 a few times. I'm hoping it shows up in next weeks Deal Days. That is 10 times than that Acer (IPS).

Thanks again for the suggestion. So I finally returned the monitor and am still searching for one with an hdmi. Will look into the asus and dell.
