Say I sell a vehicle which would mean I would not have a car to insure will the time I do not have insurance on any vehicle affect my premiums when I finally do get a vehicle? I've seen a question in insurance forms "continuous" insured.

selling a vehicle and not having insuance for a bit shouldn't hurt you as this will not go against you - being cancelled for non payment, then not having a policy for a while; however, will put a black mark on your insurance history.
