Good day all, I have an old wireless router D-Link WBR-2310, it's old and a little slow. Can only get 20Mbs down load. I am looking to replace it, and am looking for suggestions. Cost is a huge factor. I hear Netgear is good?

You can find the Cisco Valet M10 v1 routers for <$30 on sale. They are newer and are Wireless N. I am getting about 140Mb/s on it. Not sure if that is good or average but it's better than the Wireless-G speeds I was getting with my old router. You can even put a beta firmware of DD-WRT on it so it runs stable.

ASUS rt-n14 (correct me if model is wrong, but it's the $29-49 one of the slim standing shape).

Great little thing. I've used it myself and installed home networks for a couple friends using that router, no complaints.

Any problems so far? What is the wireless range like? Looking for a replacement for my very old Linksys WRT54G.

I am actually using it as a replacement for the WRT54GL. I'm not sure about the range, as far as I know it is at least the same. The computers at home don't really move around, and if they do, they don't move that far away.
