Montreal to various West coast U.S. cities - from $364 roundtrip after taxes


There seems to be some significant fare reductions from Montreal to West coast U.S. cities going on at the moment. Prices that would normally be in the $600s and $700s are down into the $300s.

Here's some of the ones I've seen so far. These are 7 night trips, but you can certainly find shorter or longer date combinations. Click on the calendar icon when you get to Google Flights to see all the dates available.

You can also go (http://www.google.com/flights/#search;f=PWM;t=PDX;d=2012-09-26;r=2012-10-02) from Portland (ME) to Portland (OR) for 300 bucks. Or, if you are boring, from Bangor or Buffalo for a few dollars more. Note that Portland, Oregon, unlike Portland, Maine, is not on the ocean.

Detroit to Oregon's Portland is only $254! Return, taxes in!

Ottawa to San Diego, Portland or Seattle for $353. Doesn't work from Toronto or to LA.

Not sure why they inserted a book store and a vegetable market in this Portland, Oregon, promo video, but I guess if you live in a city that doesn't have any, that would be a plus.
