That's an on-going promo for new email subscribers. The code arrives in your inbox approximately 2 weeks after you sign up to their newsletter. The code is valid for use for that week. Every week, there is a different code and the code are the same for everyone (ie. they are not one-use codes).

If anyone signed up 2 weeks ago and were emailed a code that's valid for this week, then it would be helpful to others to have the code posted here so others can use it as well.

+1 I think you are right. People have to choose between getting 4% cashback or use the giftcards and save 10%. I don't think there is a way to combine both.

When you called and they adjusted the 10% discount, did that take a long time?
I called a couple of hours ago and they agreed to do it on the whole order (I was getting it only on one item). The rep said I will get an email confirming that the price has been adjusted. Well, I'm still waiting for that...I guess I have too much time on my hands as I was thinking to give them another call, because I have a feeling my request has been forgotten or lost?

HD sent my code like 2 months after I subscribed. I also sent them an email, complaining that I didn't get the code. It took them 4 weeks to reply and by the time they replied and apologized, I've already received the code like a week earlier. So I'm not sure how the whole system works. It seems to be automated, but extremely delayed.
