Alright well I walked into work last night at 10pm and saw a brand new 46" LED RCA tv with my name on it. Obviously I'm happy I now have a tv that I can put in the bedroom (or use as a huge computer monitor ;)) but at the same time I was thinking of selling it and putting that $ towards my car payments... Just not sure.

So with that, I tried google and maybe it's just google not finding something for the first time or something cause all it found was manuals and such, almost no information, no reviews and no price... I'd like to see the reviews to see if it is at least worth keeping or selling and upgrading for not much more $. I have a 50" Panasonic viera 3D plasma right now and I'm sure it's not any better in picture quality than that is...

Just found out it has a 60Hz refresh rate.............

I think it may be made by the chinese company TCL. You could try to search for identical models that they might be selling under different brand names. The RCA brand name is licensed to a number of different companies though, so it might not be made by them. RCA stopped actually making TV's 15 years ago, if I remember correctly.

Definitely, but it was a draw where we had to make suggestion for an idea that would benefit the environment, only 13 out of about 450 people in the whole company entered. I'm also in a draw to win a 42 Sony Bravia but probably won't win that.

In 1988, General Electric sold RCA tv production to France based Thomson Consumer Electronics, who sold it to TTE, which did something, and you're right, the RCA brand is TCL. :(

My 32" 720p is still humming along. Bought over a year ago. It's no Sony but for a bedroom TV it's okay. No ATSC tuner in mine but we only get 3 channels here anyway, so it's not a problem.

Hope the info helps...
