I know I have an old setup, and should probably just go out and buy new equipment but I'm hoping to get things working anyways.
I have DSL service running to TD-8816 modem set to PPPoE mode and get a great internet signal. When I try to run it to the router, I can't connect to the internet anymore, but I can connect to router. I've tried setting the modem to bridge mode and disabling DHCP but still no luck. I've even tried a different router. Of course, I've done multiple factory resets to both and have no recollection of how they used to be set up. The router is an old WRT54g.
Can anyone please walk me through the set up? Thanks so much!
