Hey guys,

Not sure if this thread should be in this forum, but feel free to move it if it belongs in another section.

I'm wondering if any retail stores in the downtown Toronto area (or a place where it can be easily accessible by TTC) still buy consoles and games for cash. I took a look at the ebgames website, but I think they offer you in-store credit only. If there are stores that still buy used games, does anyone know what to expect for the resale value? Specifically I have a Nintendo 3DS and a few games I'm looking to sell, which are in fairly good condition as I didn't really play much, hence the reason I'm selling them. I bought the 3DS at around $170 a year ago, and it looks like the price is still around the same. If stores still buy them, would I only get really low prices for them? If it's something really low like $50, I'd rather just keep it, but if at least $100 it might be worth considering.

Thanks.

They would give you not a lot back. Maybe checkout the BST section for similar items and price it a little lower to sell?

take a look at kijiji on how much they are selling similar items. the average will be amount you should recieve if you decide to sell it yourself

A friend was telling me I'd probably only get around one third and a max of one half of the original price, so yea, I guess I won't get much for it. I might consider looking for an individual to sell to then.
