So its officially out today and I can say for myself that even if I do qualify for the free update, I was a total n00b and did not know that I should have submitted a claim.
Any how, who else has received their paid or free upgrade?

Wohoo, so I got my redeemable content code for the free upgrade. Currently downloading now. Does anyone know if it erases the data completely after installing, etc?

I just got the free update downloaded to my new rMBP. Other than a notifications icon and the user name on the top corner, what is different about it? The download went smoothly, btw.
