Greetings!
Wife and I are recently looking at 2011 BMW X3, certified pre-owned from various BMW dealerships. We don't quite like the first gen X3, so anything newer than 2011 would work.
Just want to hear from ppl who bought CPO vehicles from BMW dealers before, about your experiences, list prices vs prices paid, etc. I'm in GTA btw.
I'm aware of the BMW thread around but that's mostly for new cars.
If this is considered duplicate by any means, mods plz lock and delete!
Any input is greatly appreciated!

minus 10% at least...im guessing the 28i 2011? its the older engine, the new ones 2013 are N20 engine. we have the 35i 2011, i love it.
if its 28i 2011, make sure its fully loaded. i know some doesn't evne have HID, its a must, premium package also a must. ask them to throw in all season and trunk mats, they are cheap

Thanks Mingyang for your input.
There's only a few around in the GTA area. Yeah we're mostly looking at 28i, and were thinking it's cheaper than buying brand new. There's a white one at Parkview BMW (as per autotrader.ca) with ~10000km on it, asking for $44K, with premium package, sunroof and wave wood trim. We really don't care about the wood trim much. Once we get time, we will try to go check it out in person. Work's been crazy...sigh...
If you don't mind me asking, how do you find the rear seats? We have two cars currently, a 2004 Mazda3 and a 2005 Subaru Forester. The Mazda3 is surprisingly roomy back there, even roomier than the forester. So we're a bit skeptic about how the X3 sizes up against the Mazda3. The comparison I could find online are almost saying it offers slightly less room than the Mazda3...

I don't think X3 back seats are not going to be any wider than mazda3, however the leg space should be better. fits 3 avg weight ppl just fine.

lilguy - check out Bimmerpost - lots of good info there on the X3s
The Premium package comes with front and rear parking sensors so that would be a good alternative to the 360 degree camera I think.

44K? A new X3 35i is only a few grand more than that...

Thanks guys for your input thus far. Just wanted to give everyone a quick update.
Visited Parkview on Friday after work and the x3 was sold for 39k couple days before. Checked out the X1 in the new showroom and it's surprisingly roomy for its size. Coming from a mazda 3, it's very comparable room-wise. Dealership closed at 6 so there wasn't time to test drive.
Today we test drove a preowned x1 at Town&Country BMW. It's a pretty nice ride. But I felt their pricing is on the high side. $38,999 for a x1 with about 14000km, premium package and convenience package.
Found another 2011 x3 at BMW Autohaus for $44500, probably gonna check that out next. Seems to be a better value than the higher priced x1 at T&C.
