So I bought an Xbox 360 console from a friend in the UK. He said the package went out last week, Monday July 17th to be precise. Does anyone know if this will cause problems like delays? I really need this equipment, work stuff. Also I don't have a tracking number so I have no clue where the package is atm.

Thank you :)

If you were in such a rush you shouldn't have bought from the UK. I'd worry first about how long it's even going to take to get to Canada. Was it sent Post Office? Was it sent surface mail (6 weeks+) or air mail( 1 week+) ? Instead of bothering us with questions you should maybe first go after the person who has the tracking number.

As far as customs goes it will take whatever it's going to take. No way to predict and no way to do anything about it but it shouldn't be too long.

I'm sorry but that sounded very rude. The only reason why I bought it was because it's a very hard to find hardware, only for developers. Sorry if I bothered 'you' with questions I won't ask any other questions.

y u no has tracking number and expect us to magically have an answer?
If it was in such a hurry, use a guaranteed service like DHL/FedEx/UPS with tracking.

Actually, if anyone was you, it was you. Your second or third post in RFD and you're calling people rude? The reply to which you took such great offence wasn't rude in anyway..okay...maybe the end of the first paragraph could have been toned down a bit. There were additional questions, and a very logical statement - if you 'really need the xbox', you shouldn't have bought from an international seller.

That said, there are many factors that will influence shipping time. If you want a quasi-helpful answer, you will have to provide more detail in your question. Good luck.

Minimum 2 months. If you were a developer wouldn't you be signed up the the with Microsoft and buying the kit from them?
