My wife ran accross two of the Threadless Thermos designs at Dollarama today for $3 each. Not bad seeing London Drugs has these on "clearance" for $11.99. One was a "Man with a Fan", and the other had a skull (I think) with fire. These were at the Richmond, BC Dollarama.

They carry a lot of $3 items now.
I got a roll of 75 (or maybe it's 72?) Glad garbage bags for $3. They had a sign right at the entrance introducing that they now carried items up to $3

I saw the Threadless bottles OP was talking about at Staples last week for >$17 each.
Went to a few Dollaramas to check out their $3 stock on Friday:
Brooklin Dollarama had 15+ Liberty bottles (http://www.thermos.com/products/thermos-threadless-hydration-bottle.aspx)
Oshawa (Taunton and Ritson) had 15+ Juliet bottles (http://www.thermos.com/products/juliet-thermos-threadless-hydration-bottle.aspx)
Taunton and Durham Hwy 12 had 15+ Juliet bottles (http://www.thermos.com/products/juliet-thermos-threadless-hydration-bottle.aspx) as well.
Love these bottles because you don't have to twist them open, or suck on the top to get a good drink, yet you can take off the top to clean or to insert ice when needed.
Also saw 50 count Gartner DIY Wedding invitations for $3 at two stores:
Tall Yellow Floral Invitation Kit (http://www.brides.com/wedding-ideas/wedding-invitations-stationery/gallery/invitations-and-stationery/vendor/designer/gartner-studios/detail/2000000001463293) at Hwy 7 and Galsworthy (Sherwood Plaza)
Blush Rose Invitation Kit (http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/product_view/4466369) at the Taunton and Durham Hwy 12 location.
Both invitation sets have 50 invites, envelopes, etc.

I find that $3 items are of higher quality and compete aggressively against walmart etc for value. Picked up a Wilson Volleyball the other day for the little one for $3 (in original packaging!)

Picked up "Metal Fan" a few weeks back at Metrotown location and only one left (probably gone by now). Didn't see any at Kingsway (Vancouver) and Bridgeport locations.

Threadless... makes bottles?
No, not really. Thermos makes the bottles. The designs on them are from Threadless, however.

Thanks OP, bought 2, I really like water bottles.
I couldn't decide on the top style, one has a protrusion nozzle type thing, and one is slim profile design cap.

Where are the bottles stocked within the stores?
I checked out a few locations, but none of them has it stocked. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong aisle?

Depends on the store. The local one for me in Richmond, has most of their $3 items on endcaps (at the end of the isles), but I have seen these in other stores, down the isle with other water bottles.

there are tons of them they are everywhere like in the food section etc.
I heard that the cap sucks though, like you cant drink from it without spilling + it breaks. Is this true? or not?

At Bayview Lanes, they stock them at the end of aisle. Far end from the entrance, probably aisle #4 or #5, at the lower two shelves. Which is NOT together with other bottles.

It doesnt look like the cap would hold up to much abuse.
I have the bottle with the nozzle cap (tall), but they have another cap style (low profile cap with integrated pull-out finger loop) which at that store looked terrible to drink from.
The nozzle style is great to drink from, very conformable. But its a lot taller.
Long term durability of both caps is suspect to me. Both feature a little push tab and a little elastic at pivot which makes the lid pop open when button is depressed, but I dont know how long that would last for, or how the seal is re leaking.
Still very happy with the purchase, thanks OP.

There's a thread about $3 items? which is the link I was thinking of starting a thread dedicated to items sold @ Dollarama but couldnt find one and surprised no one has done one yet.

I am sure I remember reading one, at one time, but of course I can't find it now. Probably not a bad idea to start a dedicated thread.
