Looking to buy a new laptop for school but would also want the laptop to play some basic games like Diablo 3, Call of Duty and Counter Strike.

Saw this on sale and think it could do the job, and with it on sale for $499.99 it meets my budget. Should I pull the trigger or wait for the back to school sales. This is the quick breakdown:

AMD Comal A8-4500M quad-core mobile processor

8GB DDR3 SDRAM

750GB hard drive

AMD Radeon HD 7640G graphics

HDMI, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, VGA, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi connectivity

Pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system

What kind of issues?

Heat issues, quality control issues, and I had one that just "broke" out of the blue... AND the hinge on the laptop turns to sh***t

I'm typing this response on my approx. 6 year old Toshiba laptop. Never been in for service. Never had a problem with it. Used almost every day until about a year ago when I got a new HP unit (which, of course, can do a lot more heavy lifting). The Toshiba is still good for web browsing and general light duties. I know several people who own or have owned Toshiba laptops and highly recommend them but that's just my experience...

Graphics wise, this should give you a better idea of what you can run on it http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-7640G.69836.0.html

Personally I don't prefer Toshiba. So you can try Dell.
