Looking for a brand new Toyota Yaris (with auto transmission and a/c) from a dealership at $14000 out the door price.
It doesn't have to be 2012 model, but I want a brand new one (can't be demo or display).

1) Is this possible?

2) Does anyone know how much dealerships get their Yaris from Toyota?

I know that 2012 Yaris Hatchback is ALL New model
and 2013 Yaris Sedan will be ALL New model,
so I'm thinking it isn't impossible.

Right now, there is a $2000 off discount for cash purchases and $500 off for graduates.

The MSRP for the cheapest Yaris (with manual transmission and no AC) comes out to $17,292

Add automatic transmission and AC, the cost balloons to $20,426

Take $500 off for new graduates, and it's still $19,926

Are you SURE this $2000 cash discount applies? I have my doubts for a brand new model year.

Even IF it does apply, that's STILL $17,926.

And you want to pay $14,000 out the door.

Not happening.

$14k out the door? Are you on glue?
You would barely get a used 2010 model for that price, let alone brand new!

I LOL'd. Very funny...Not sure if serious or a troll. Also not sure what OP's been smoking.

Not only must it be brand new, auto, A/C for $14,000 on the road but it can't be a display model either. There is no such thing as a new auto + AC car for $14,000 OTR.

Time for a reality check and some used car shopping for 2009 models. There are no discounts for the Yaris. Margins are razor thin since it's being built in Japan still. All models for North America will be built in France in 2013.

Re:

1. No
2. Go get a CCC report or ask somebody to do you a favour and get one for you.

14K for a automatic air conditioned car, let alone a Toyota Yaris? If this is early 90s it might be possible. Now? You better look somewhere else, the 2nd hand market is always there for you.

Hold back and save a couple thousand then buy. 2012 Yaris Hatchback has a better interior than previous models.

YARIS HATCHBACK 5DR LE 4A (Convenience Package) including tax should be around $19,000.

You might be able to negotiate down to $18,000 or $17,500. Go to different Toyota dealerships and negotiate.

Hey, guys
Thanks for your replies.
If it was my car, I'd definitely get something else in manual.
It's for my parents.
I've seen unbelievable pricing on almost everything at RFD,
so I thought you guys had some sort of info on it.

I'm still curious on how much dealers make on civics, corollas, and Yarises.

http://www.carsaver.ca/ for free dealer cost. I compared a few quotes (mainly Toyotas) from Car Cost Canada and these guys and the prices were exactly the same.

Its possible. Buy a fully loaded Tacoma at the same dealership for list and I'm sure you can get your Yaris for $14k
