I'm going to be purchasing a smartphone from ebay (US based) and I'm considering getting Square Trade for it.
It's around 35$/1 year and 55$/2 years for the 225$ phone I'm considering.
So what's your experience in dealing with it? I like how I have 30 days after purchase to buy the warranty and their process seems okay, where you print up an RMA and mail it to them for free.
Questions:
1) One thing that is weird is when I visit their .com US site, enter an ebay item #, it will give me a quote in USD, but when I checkout, it's in British Pounds - why is this? The item is in the US. If I purchase the warranty at the same time as the item, it's in the USD, but then I wouldn't be able to enter a coupon code, which is only doable on their official website. (Figured this part out, it was due to me using Chrome - works on FF)
2) Also, where do you guys get your coupons for it? I googled for them but every single site I got coupons from ended up being invalid/expired from several months ago.
3) Square Trade the best warranty in Canada for ebay purchases?
Thanks.
