So I bought one of these $10 and it works great on my Logitech PFA2. I use my phone and throw over anything, tunes/online radio/youtube, etc.

Awesome idea except it does not work when the dock is unplugged (fully charged) because it doesn't power the BT receiver.
Not really convenient when a plug isn't closeby (backyard, picnic, etc).

Is there a workaround?
Is there a powered BT version anywhere I could buy?

Maybe I'm not looking right, I don't see a 30 pin version.

link/sku?

Thanks

What about the 3.5mm plug? The way I see it, the only reason the 30 pin version would exist is to get power from it.

I saw that one and thought about it.

So a short male-male 3.5 should work?

I'm assuming THIS (http://www.dealextreme.com/p/usb-rechargeable-bluetooth-v3-0-receiver-black-130956?item=2)

If that works, I guess I could leave my 6G nano plugged into the 30 pin and off.

So a short male-male 3.5 should work?If the dock has a 3.5 line-in jack then sure.

This one has 4 contacts, you only need 3.
