View Full Version : Skinomi for tablet held in Customs or fraud

Hi, so I bought skinomi tech skin for my tablet straight from us based skinomi.com more than a month ago. I've sent them several emails and I was told it might be held in customs. So I waited one more week and sent them another email expressing my dissatisfaction. I think I've been plenty patient I've received packages faster from china. Then they said they're going to send another shipment and if my original shipment were to arrive that I could keep it.

Now its been more than a week since and no package. If its true that its held in customs isn't there supposed to be letter from customs informing us. I have a couple usps tracking numbers and both ends with the packages leaving the LA sorting facility. Putting the # into canada post site doesn't even show any result.

Any ideas?

Most likely they are both stuck in customs, as you have said the USPS website shows them leaving the la sorting plant. Customs doesn't send a letter unless it is being seized, and the time it takes to clear varies between a few minutes to several weeks depending on how busy it is. My advise would be hold tight, check the Canada post website for updates. When it is released by cbsa it should be updated there.

It isn't Skinomi's problem that the package is held up at customs - why are you angry at them?

They did their part and shipped the package.

If you have the USPS number (tracking) it is no longer their problem - they sell products, they are not the company delivering them.

i ordered a skinonmi for my mobile phone and it came after 1.5 to 2 weeks. maybe it got lost in the mail?
