Hey guys,

I'm doing some cleaning up and am looking to donate some old digital cameras and computer parts (working) to a non-profit. Does anyone have any suggestions? I did some searching and found the ERA but it has no mention of digital cameras. Thanks!

FreeGeek, but I don't know if they take cameras either.

Ask yourself this question: "If I put this up for sale on kijiji would somebody be likely to buy it from me?" If the answer is no, the stuff belongs in the garbage or at a recycling depot. Non-profits don't want or need obsolete junk. There are plenty of well-off people who routinely donate equipment that's new or practically new.

If I had the time I'd list them on Craigslist then yes I'm sure they'd all sell pretty quickly, but the time required to meet each buyer and sell each item is really not worth my time.

It really depends on what kind of camera and how's the condition of it. If it is still working and in good condition, Its a must you sell it on craig's list or kjiji.
